Yarnin’ Seeds

Participants develop job-ready skills across a range of horticulture and landscaping activities, including plant propagation and planting, landscape construction, earthworks, paving, lawn establishment and care, mulching, and installing reticulation and irrigation systems to support long-term garden sustainability. The program may also include basic tool identification and safe use training, and support for relevant tickets and certifications where appropriate.

Bush Futures

,.Bush Futures empowers First Nations youth by developing employability, life skills, and financial literacy through propagating traditional bush foods, medicines, and plants. Economic independence, cultural preservation, and sustainable practices are fostered through the sale and distribution of these resources.

Bush Futures is a First Nations-led horticulture initiative that empowers First Nations youth through the cultivation of traditional bush foods, medicinal plants, and native flora. The project aims to provide participants with essential skills in horticulture, employability, business management, financial literacy and life skills, enabling them to grow, harvest, and sell native plants and bush foods.
