Tell Your Story – Youth Voices Project 2023
What:
We are looking for young people with a story to tell, that would like to work with a professional crew to produce a short film or podcast.
All equipment and technical skills will be provided by our Youth Voices crew who will come to you in our DigiVan and work with you to make your idea come to life.
We are putting together a series of short films and podcasts that uniquely tell the story of young people on the Central Coast and we want to work with you!
Ages: 12-25.
Entry: Writing, Voice and film.
Prizes:
Professional mentor sessions, workshops, equipment and gift vouchers. Selected stories will be produced and featured online.
Theme:
Your story might be about you, your community or something you are passionate about; it could be personal, environmental, cultural, about a friend or family member, hobbies or challenges and dreams. No idea is too big or too small!
HOW TO ENTER
Upload a short smartphone video, voice recording or written idea HERE
Video: Submit a short film clip, either animation, music video, narrative short film or moving digital drawing.
Voice: Record your idea/story via voice recording.
Written: Write your idea, story or story board down. Max 1000 words.
KEY DATES
Entries open: Monday 4th September 2023
Entries close: Friday 15th December 2023
Judging period: As stories are entered – we will contact you
If your story is selected, you will have access to
- Professional mentoring sessions with our crew in our DigiVan
- State-of-the-art equipment and training
- Promotional features on Skilled Creative and DigiVan social media channels
- A certificate and reference of participation
- An amazing prize pool
