Building Resilience and Confidence for Employment

Outcomes for BRACE participants:

• Increase number of students with diverse learning needs attending and lasting in their planned 35-hour work placement
• Increased rate of a successful and rewarding work placement and industry experience for students with diverse learning needs
• Students with diverse learning needs to acquire skills to support their engagement with work placement including managing anxiety, attending to mental health issues, setting goals, building resilience
• The skills acquired through BRACE can be used not just on work placement but are tools for life
• Introduction of students with diverse learning needs to operating and functional workplaces who have work practices that support diversity and inclusiveness in employment.
