Guiding Youth Towards Creative Digital Pathways
Funded by the NSW Government Regional Youth Investment Program, the Digi Van project guides participants towards creative digital pathways. The Digi Van travels to diverse locations, engaging with young individuals at youth centers, community centers, and high schools.
Through this initiative, young creators share their perspectives and stories on The Skill Engineer Ltd.’s platforms, reaching a wide audience. This platform amplifies their podcasts and multimedia productions, highlighting the diverse voices and talents of Central Coast youth.
The Transformative Power of Multimedia
Maggie MacFie, CEO of Skill Engineer Ltd., highlights multimedia’s pivotal role in shaping youth’s self-perception, fostering understanding and active participation. According to MacFie, media is essential for modern culture, entertainment, and societal transformation.
Capturing Wisdom and Stories: For Our Elders Initiative
Before the official launch, the Digi Van appeared at the 2023 Central Coast Community NAIDOC Celebrations. Teenagerd worked with The Skill Engineer Ltd.’s MobPod team to capture wisdom and stories from elders. This collaboration showcases local talent, fosters resilience, champions meaningful change, and serves as a dynamic outlet for joy and creativity.
